On April 8, 1972, Apostle Amos O. Bockarie, a native of Nimba County, in northeastern, Liberia, he was born in Monrovia into a religiously mixed family. His father, Mr. Bockarie, was a Muslim, while his mother, Mother Massa, was a traditional woman. He was raised by his Oldest Sister in Monrovia for a while and during the civil unrest in Liberia, he moved to Tappita and lived with the Roman Catholic Church Fathers, who inculcated in him the virtues of Christian life through the early morning prayers which he attended with them. They also taught him the importance of tithing and other basic Christian virtues.
Amos Bockarie was “born again” in 1984 through the influence of a Catholic Priest, who took special interest in him and invited him to become priest. He has an associate in Accountant from Grand Bassa University, bachelor’s in ministry studied from Grace International Bible University and master’s degree in Christian Education from New Dimension Theological Seminary and Colleges. He worked for almost 11 years with MERLIN, in Liberia before resigning to concentrate on missionary work.
The Church in Buchanan grew to become the International Headquarters of TLIM, with a constantly increasing flow of crowds spilling over to adjacent roads, and on decks of uncompleted buildings nearby, compelling people to stand for hours to listen to his teachings. This led to the building of the new church building with a sitting capacity of 500.
Through God’s grace upon him, Early Foundation School of Excellence have been established to equip the youth for impact.
